„Harmlose Kunst“ can be translated as „Harmless Art“. It is a concept invented and developed by educator and artist Anna Hielscher and her team. Harmless Art focuses on creating art using only natural, biodegradable materials. The idea is to make art that doesn’t harm the environment and can return to nature after its use. „Harmless“ is also a play on words and offers a variety of meanings and interpretations.
As well as creating her own art, Anna Hielscher also offers workshops in German and English, online and on-site. In the workshops, participants explore their creativity by creating temporary works of art from materials such as leaves, stones and branches. These sessions also promote mindfulness, teamwork and sustainability. Through hands-on experience, people learn how art and nature can be combined in a meaningful and eco-friendly way. These workshops are available for children, adults and businesses and focus on creativity, team building and sustainability.
Training is also available for teachers who wish to integrate Harmless Art as a method of art education into their own teaching, for example in nurseries, kindergartens, schools and universities. If you are an artist and want to create your own form of Harmless Art, there are conditions for using the Harmless Art trademark and linking to our project.
